Leaving the Snow Behind

We spent last night in Amarillo, Texas.  It's still cold, but we're heading to southern New Mexico today.  We're anticipating seeing new sights in an area we've not visited before.

We had a great Christmas and New Year's time with our immediate family, which included Spencer (10 months old) for the first time.  We were blessed with a great send off-a wonderful wet snow.  We enjoyed it immensely (except for the challenges of keeping the driveway passable.) Kimberly said it was the best sledding ever at The Woods, and I agree.  I've never trudged up the whole hill so many times, just to enjoy the exhilarating ride down.

On the way, we stopped for a couple days in Goshen, Indiana visiting family there.  Always a good time.

Monday we headed south in the Tioga.  Here's Bruce at one of the fuel stops, notice the gasoline price.  We haven't seen that in Millersburg for a long time!
