Valley of Fires

Many, many, many years ago, the lava flowed.  And today, we found a campground--with the best bathroom and showers ever--at Valley of Fire Recreation Area. The malpais flows were on both sides of this camping area.  We had a good walk through the unique landscape, even with the cold wind blowing.
